Dine with me

Welcome to our
Dining Room

As many of you know we dine out
on the screened porch often
but we also enjoy our
indoor dining room

We have an open floor plan so it's adjacent
to the kitchen and living area

I love my antique sideboard
It's an English piece I've had for many years
and I think it adds a lot of charm to my dining area

What kind of wine would you like with your meal?

My center piece is simple but pretty....

.....Hydrangea's in a classic white pitcher
sitting on a  Battenburg lace runner

I'm always changing out the theme
on my sideboard (from season to season)
and of course I change my
chalkboard sign from time to time also

today it's welcoming
Every Little Birdie!!!

this is one of my favorite pieces
I found it years ago at a antique shop in Tyler, Texas

 An elegant old soup tureen
has a place on the sideboard

This wall art of an old door
gives me a little french country touch
and I love the blue!!!!

My table is a reproduction
of an old french farm table

I have more leafs I can add
and it will seat up to twelve
(not sure I want to cook for that many though)

I choose Windsor style chairs for this
table because they are so classic

Hope you enjoyed looking
around my dining room

Every Little Birdie says -
You are welcome to dine with us anytime

  1. I can't stop looking at the side board! Fabulous, and love the plates around the curve of the mirror!
