Home Tour

We spent Memorial Day
at a parade

The Victoria Parade of Homes
by the Builders Association of Victoria

Here are a few of the beautiful
homes we toured

This was our favorite!!!!
It's in the Sanctuary at Costa Grande in Port O'Connor

Now that's an entrance!!!!

The master bedroom was gorgeous

as was the master bath

and the beauty continued
up stairs

and outdoors too!!!!!

The next home was also
at Port O'Connor

How about this for your
summer beach house????

I think I could hang out here
on weekends.....how about you??

How cute is this bedroom??

and how about this room
for the little mates

and this one
for the captain and wife

Really loved this
 beach style house!!!!

The last house we
toured was right outside Cuero
on a beautiful ranch

How about this for
Ranch Living....

I'm thinking you could
cook up lots of cowboy
chow in this kitchen!!!!

and how about this
Master Bedroom

and master bath

and every rancher
needs a place to relax

We enjoyed our day
parading around South Texas

Hope your holiday was relaxing

Adding to my nest

We finally found and agreed
on a headboard and footboard
for our queen bed

As you know, back in the day,
they didn't have queen beds

..... we wanted one that would
have the look of an antique
even though it was new

We found this one online at the Brass Bed shoppe
It's called the Pomona Iron Bed

Once hubby had the headboard and frame put together
we put box springs on, then the new brown bed skirt,
and last the mattress.....now on to the foot board

Ok, almost finished!!!

Love the new look!!

My duvet and shams
are from the Rachel Ashwell
Shabby Chic collection
sold at Target
My french pillow is from TJ Max

We got the Head/Foot board on sale,
plus a $25.00 coupon savings,
& the shipping was free,
Grand total $294.00!!!!!!!!

Didn't we do good????

I think it just completes this room

fun playing around with a few
starter projects this week

a little mod podge

From plain to pretty
and soooooo
easy!!

A left over pickle jar

Now a pretty touch in
my guest bathroom

A pretty candle for
my master bath

They should have a warning label
on the Mod Podge bottle
"May become addicting"

My mind is whirling with ideas for new projects
