Our new fur baby

As some of you know we lost our sweet little Pixie dog
to cancer last year

RIP

This spring we knew it was time
to start looking for a new
"Fur Baby"

Decisions, decisions

What breed, what size,
shedding or no shedding

I had already decided on a name
Lacy Mae
(a good southern name)

We lived on the internet researching dog breeders.
.....then one day hubby called me and said
"I think I've found Lacy Mae"

That's her in the middle between her two brothers

As soon as I got home we called Susan at
"DREAM MAKER PUPPIES"

I can't speak highly enough about
John & Susan
at Dream Maker Puppies
They are wonderful folks
and first class breeders

The next weekend we were headed to
Willis, Texas to meet our new fur baby

Introducing
Miss Lacy Mae
Toy Schnauzer

We are in love with this sweet baby and she is doing a great job of training us to
be her parents!  She has taken over
our lives and hearts!!

 helping out in the kitchen

relaxing on the screened porch

Playing with her many toys

or just showing off!

Lots to love about Lacy Mae!

Every Little Birdie says
When we lost Pixie it left and huge hole in our hearts
Lacy Mae is doing her best to fill it right up!!

Bird Cage Lamp

Last Saturday my girlfriend, Judy
and I went to the city wide garage sale
in Cuero, Texas

We found some good bargains

One was a $3.00 bird cage

I brought it home, took off the
plastic red bottom

and turned the top into a lamp!!

Have you ever seen a bird cage turned into a lamp?

It's definitely different!

Kind of eclectic don't you think

Every Little Birdie says

Now the question?????
Will I keep it or sell it.

Junkin' @ the Antique Spring Show

My sister and I spent two days
at the Round Top Antique Fair

We shopped till we dropped!

Let's wander around and see all the
wonderful treasures to be had......

It was a little chilly and windy the first day
but miles and miles of shopping
will warm you up!

We're walking, we're shopping

we're touching, we're feeling

we're looking and oh yes
WE ARE BUYING!

The second day my niece and
her new puppy "Lord Nelson" joined us

He was a hit at the show!
Everyone loves a puppy!!

Nelson finally had to give up his
chariot to make space for
 all our treasures and junk,
but he was a real sport
and loved his day with the girls shopping

Wouldn't this be a good time to
crawl up in this pretty bed and take
a short nap????

If you want it.... they got it!!!!

there is one of everything at this
awesome show

WANT TO SEE THE JUNKIN'
TREASURES WE BOUGHT?
