Chippy Charm

I'm here today to talk about
the misunderstood,
the neglected,
the overlooked,

....that's right folks,
I'm here to
discuss the -
 "The chippy look"

You either hate it or love it!!!!

I love it....hubby hates it

Once upon a time
I found this chippy old table
and this chippy old hutch and it was
LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!!







First thing hubby said
when I brought it home....

"Why did you buy that junky thing????
The paint is all chipping off"

Clearly he could not see it's 
charm, it's patina, it's well worn beauty






 
But I could!!!!

I loved it then and all these years later
I still love it!!

The chippier it gets the more I love it!
