Welcoming my daughter and niece
who are both amazing teachers!!!!!



We packed at lot into our

four days of R & R

My daughter & grands arrived Sunday

Monday morning we were off to the zoo....

Even though my grands are teens now
they still love the Texas Zoo in Victoria

Especially my granddaughter who loves all animals - every shape and size!!

they blow kisses
and make a fuss over each other

the grands experience a hurricane simulator at the zoo

After a fun time at the zoo

we headed to Sonic for

"happy hour"

On the way home we stopped by the

Victoria Educational Gardens



Monday night Katy arrived to every one's delight

Tuesday I took the girls shopping

The girls at Discovery Architectural Antiques in Gonzales

We shopped till we dropped

Papa and Trace spent the day fishing

at a friend's farm pond

Trace caught four big bass!!

Wednesday we hit a few flea markets in Victoria

and then returned home and spent the

rest of the day "shabby chic" painting

some of our great finds

               However, all good things must come to and end.....

....but not until they spent one last night

playing cards on the screened porch

We enjoyed every minute of our time with you
