New Year's Eve

We are having company for
New Year's dinner tomorrow
so I spent this morning cleaning my house

but come the afternoon
I got in the mood to
feather my nest a bit

Hubby calls it playing house

Well maybe there is some playing
involved but never the less
I enjoy it and it's never ending fun!!

Remember the vintage ironing board
from my last post
well I changed up the decor a little

I'm not through playing.....

Once I take the Christmas Tree down
I may move this into the living room

I'll know when I find the right spot!!!!

We've just finished a wonderful dinner

Salmon
Roasted asparagus
Smoked Gouda Mashed Potato's
Crusty Bread

Yum Yum

Later tonight we are planning on making these...

and seeing in the New Year in our rockers
on the front porch hopefully watching some fireworks

Hope your New Year's Eve is safe and fun
whatever you do!!!!!

Every Little Birdie says -

See you on the New Year!!

  3. I love your ironing board as I've said in my previous comment on the other post.
But right now... I'm in love with simplistic decor-- and this room is a PRIME EXAMPLE of less is more.
    I love it!

Thanks for sharing it. I'm pinning it.

    1. Thanks for your comment Pat, but I have to give some credit to the hubby for the simplicity. He is always saying keep it simple. I might be tempted to keep adding but he really likes the clean look and it's growing on me too!

  4. I have two of those old ironing boards. No room for them at the moment but have them standing agains a wall waiting their turn. Love using them when I can.......
