Glory of the Lord

I snapped this picture out the window on our way

home from our girl's shopping trip to the 

Outlet Mall in San Marcos last Wednesday

It gave me pause to think and remember that 

Christmas is not just about buying presents,

 decorating my home, and attending parties

It's about the Glory of the Lord

For unto us a child is born.....

            

......And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor,

Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace

                               Isaiah 9:6

Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed and

all flesh will see it together

                               Isaiah 40:5

The heavens declare His righteousness

and all the peoples have seen His glory

                                 Psalm 97:6

I can't take credit for these pictures
