Big "D"

My Son lives in Dallas
and was happy to show
my English Relatives
around his favorite city

 Old Red Court House
Dallas, Texas

Klyde Warren Park serves as a central gathering space for Dallas and its visitors. The 5.2-acre deck park, designed by The Office of James Burnett, is an urban green space built over the recessed Woodall Rodgers Freeway between Pearl and St. Paul streets in downtown Dallas. Klyde Warren Park will be a highly active space, providing daily free programming for the public ranging from yoga to book signings to outdoor concerts and films. The park is privately operated and managed by the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation.

Reunion Tower

Overlooking the road and grassy knoll
where Kennedy was shot

 View of downtown Dallas
from my son's high rise apartment

We also visited the Bishop Arts district,
Oak Cliff, and drove around
Highland Park

and we had lunch at Sissy's Southern Kitchen & Bar
in the Henderson/Knox District

(Where the Brits tasted fried okra, fried green tomatoes,
grits, and buttermilk biscuits)

Every Little Birdie says
Thanks Justin for a great tour of Big "D" !!!!
