Family has gone home,

House is put back together,

Hubby is off for a drink with the guys

.....and I'm home with a glass of wine

spending some quiet time

Making a list, and checking it twice

I'm sure it's the same with

many of you, but

I've been super busy lately

(OK, that's my excuse for not blogging)

Yes, I've got that holiday list

and I'm checking it twice

Not to see who's been naughty or nice

but to see if I've got everything done!!

House decorated - 

 

Christmas letter and family photos mailed

 

Gifts bought and wrapped

 

Christmas parties attended

 

I haven't checked everything off my list

but this is a good start!!

and while I was checking things off my list

I took time to change my blackboard

as a little reminder of what it's all about

While we are dealing with the hustle and bustle

of the season it's always good to stop and

remember the true meaning of Christmas
